SHOW CONTRACT

Sold to Buyer, one AKC purebred Keeshond puppy for $----- . The puppy is represented as having no disqualifying faults. Said Keeshond Puppy will be co-owned by both Buyer and Breeder.

The Buyer has 72 hours from time of purchase in which to have said puppy checked and passed as healthy by a veterinarian of their choice. If the veterinarian does not pass the puppy as healthy, the Buyer must return the puppy within 72 hours, with a note from the veterinarian as to why the puppy yas not passed as healthy. The full price of said puppy will be refunded.
If for whatever reason the Buyer is no longer able to keep this Keeshond (no matter what age) the Keeshond is to be returned to Vandy Kennels. This Keeshond is not for resale. Buyer agrees to be a responsible dog owner and abide by their local dog ordinances and further agrees not to let this Keeshond become a public nuisance and/or roamer.
Failure of Buyer to abide by the above agreement shall be considered a breach of contract and ownership of said Keeshond shall revert to Vandy Kennels without compensation to Buyer. In addition, Buyer shall pay Vandy Kennels the sum of $5000 as liquidated damages in the event of such a breach of this contract.

Buyer agrees to abide by the Keeshond Club of America Code of Ethics and agrees NOT to breed said Keeshond until he or she has finished their AKC Championship AND has been O.F.A. certified clear of Hip Dysplasia, examined for patellar luxation, CERFED, and Thyroid Clear by Michigan State. A copy of all verifications shall be sent to Vandy Kennels. Must be in CHIC program.
If hips of said Keeshond do not pass, Breeder agrees to refund purchase price or replace with another puppy upon return of said Keeshond.
Buyer further agrees that said Keeshond will ONLY be bred to AKC Champion Keeshonden that have been O.F.A. certified clear of Hip Dysplasia, examined for patellar luxation, CERFED, and Thyroid Clear by Michigan State, and in CHIC program. Verification for each breeding is to be sent to Vandy Kennels before the breeding.
If the buyer does not follow the ethics and agreement, the buyer agrees to pay $5000.00 to Vandy Kennels as liquidated damages AND return the said Keeshond to Vandy Kennels.
